Aims to help teacher candidates successfully develop and implement assessment techniques for English language learners. Candidates will gain insight to the underlying theories of second language assessment while exploring the practical considerations of test design and language skills assessment. Also reviews assessment techniques currently utilized in the broader educational plateau (state and federal level) in juxtaposition to theoretical frameworks and research on language assessment.
