Course Description
Designed to scaffold teachers’ acquisition of how to use the high-leverage practices (HLPs) to support the learning and behavior of students with disabilities, including autism. Course content will focus on instructional methods and strategies; how to modify and adapt curriculum and materials; collaboration with colleagues, staff, and parents; teaching interpersonal skills, including communication and self-management; implementing positive behavior supports; and effective inclusive strategies.
