Explores inner structure building as a philosophy of the self to achieve human wellness. Presents a philosophical and ethical construct of the self by means of strengthening self-identity and inner knowing and seeks connections with how we address illness, epidemics/disease, and spiritual demise. Discusses the ‘ethical’ self as a unique concept, turned outward to communicate a cultural model of ethics, social justice, and spiritual traditions. Combines reading, working on reflective assignments (individual and collaborative) by journaling, comprehensive writing, and careful listening.
