Course Description
Introduces the financial planning process and the main products utilized by active financial advisors, including ethical issues faced by financial planners. Provides an overview of the topics vital to understanding and successfully passing the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam as well as introducing other certifications that students may need to serve financial advisory clients like the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation. Throughout the course, there will also be discussion about the types of insurance, investment and annuity products utilized to cover client financial planning needs more holistically.
